The centerpiece of the Herreshoff Museum is the 1853 Burnside (Bristol) rifle works. This historic structure has undergone significant additions over its many years.

Phase I of this project has replaced long neglected roofs and the restoration of its iconic cupola.

Phase II will begin this spring and will restore the Burnside Street elevation.
