Due to its location in a V-zone / coastal flood zone, this home had been elevated in the 80’s. The resulting home was isolated from its site and nearly inaccessible in bad weather. The new owners wished to create a year-round home that was accessible for the family. The new entry / stair tower allows enclosed access to the main level and upstairs bedroom, replacing a small spiral staircase.
